Black Ops II’s multiplayer; arguably the real reason many will purchase the game. While I still have a lot to experience — the number of unlocks is ridiculous and the competitive metagame is difficult to discern this early — I still think I’ve got a reasonable feel for it all. Good enough to at the very least say with confidence that Black Ops II does nothing that would entice someone who was turned off by the series before, though Treyarch has made a few changes to the franchise. Where the single player saw huge changes to the franchise, and zombies saw some alterations as well, multiplayer, on the whole, will be familiar to anyone that’s played a major iteration of the Call of Duty franchise in the last few years. It’s still a fast-paced twitch shooter that has maps with dizzying number of nooks, crannies and corners that encourage a frenetic style of play. Black Ops II feels like another iteration that tweaks things a little. The game largely plays the same, except for a few changes, which in my opinion aren’t significant enough to make the game feel any different. The only people who will think the changes in Black Ops II are significant are the more hardcore of the bunch, for whom any change, however small, feels like a huge thing. It’s more Call of Duty — almost exactly like how you remembered it, too. I want to touch on spirit of the multiplayer as a whole before I delve into the nitty gritty, just so I’m clear on what that classic Call of Duty multiplayer feel is.
The new matchmaking is going to make me quit this game!

Yet the screams of the vanquished still ring in my ears. I’ve blood on my hands. I wait for my place in the halls of the damned. And if I could go back and make my amends, I’d make all those mistakes again. I’d kill every last one of those bastards, my friend! In fact, he caused most of it.

Edit Sangheilos during the Forerunner Era Their homeworld Sangheilos, had at one point been visited by or had been in contact with the Forerunners. They revered the objects these “gods” had left, and considered tampering with them a heresy beyond any other. In BCE they encountered the San’Shyuum , a race that also worshipped the Forerunners as gods, but had utilized Forerunner technology for their own needs, believing that the technology had been left behind as gifts for their “children.
By BCE even the most loyal Sangheili were forced to admit that their race’s survival depended on the usage of Forerunner technology and it could win them the war. Instead, the two sides came to an agreement which became a written document called the Writ of Union, which then lead to the creation of the Covenant. This Great Journey would transform believers into godlike beings, while providing salvation for their doomed existence of fighting with the Flood.
The Sangheili then became the bodyguards of the physically less imposing San’Shyuum, who would search the galaxy for Halos. Its first canto clearly outlines the nature of the Covenant from the perspective of the San’Shyuum. Being one of the few races in the Covenant to achieve space-faring status without outside intervention, the Sangheili interaction with the San’Shyuum was intially strained due to the memories of the recent war.
However, the two sides later formed a prosperous relationship, eventually laying the foundation for the modern Covenant hegemony. During their membership with the Covenant, the Sangheili were technological and societal equals of the San’Shyuum. However, for a significant period, they found themselves as the dominant military muscle for the entire Covenant Empire, hardly surprising given their warlike, feudal nature of their homeworld, Sangheilos. What was surprising was the cyclical stability this feudal society was able to offer.
Technological and medical advancement prospered, and the intelligent, aggressive Sangheili were peerless until they encountered the San’Shyuum.
I have played 2 sessions since the implementation of the matchmaking updates to pubs Attrition and have found that I have wasted a lot of time struggling to find a game. Pre-patch, I was finding games galore. And in terms of skill, I honestly cannot say that I have noticed any more competitiveness I still seem to end up on low-skilled teams that are getting crushed with team mates contributing with massive amounts of negative deaths and only returning Pilot kills.
Nov 28, · The problem with head glitches is that they tend to camp in their head glitches for the entire game. They are extremely hard to kill, are extremely.
If you can’t hold your own against people of the same skill, you’re not very good. If you need to rape noobs to inflate your stats, your a tryhard biatch! I’m sorry, but why does everyone seem to think that this thread was intended for people to tell me I’m not as good as I think I am? It would take a complete fhucking retard not to realize that you aren’t as good at something when your playing against better players.
Are you people really so stupid that you must point this out post after post. This thread was not created because I think I’m good at the game. It was created to discuss something that I see as a problem which is limiting the amount of fun I can have on this game. How good or bad I am is completely irrelevant. I could care less if I am just an “average at best tryhard biatch!

Black Ops 3 is my most anticipated title of the year, why you ask? Call of Duty is that game for me, a game that gives me almost instant satisfaction as I jump into a match in less than a minute of booting the console. Call of Duty as a series has spawned a ton of games now and has been on a certain decline after Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 which I believe to be the best game in the series.
With Black Ops 3 developers Treyarch have a lot to prove: I played the Beta from the day it went up on the Playstation 4 and to my surprise the game performed excellently across all 5 days of the servers being up. The game looks gorgeous and is certainly the best looking Call of Duty game yet. The frame rate to my experience only dipped once or twice and that could be due to the connection. Overall the game performs like a Call of Duty game — super smooth.

Try one Twitter search on ” Halo 5 Servers ,” and you are destined to see players complain about server quality since the dawn of time. What can be discussed in regards to servers, though, is a new form of matchmaking, as brought up from a recent post on the Halo Waypoint forums by Joshua Menke, Lead Engagement Designer for Halo. New Matchmaking Offers Less Wait Time, but Potentially More Imbalance Menke has kept a running series of Matchmaking Feedback posts, musing over the current state of how well players can connect to one another in a lobby that both has a good connection and a fair playing field.
What he does can be considered a gold standard of how developers can get constructive feedback from the community and provide updates on features, but all of that is a discussion for another day.
Nov 10, · I didn’t realize it at the time, but I quit Black Ops 2 for the same reason. I came back when it was removed, and had a blast. I enjoy running and gunning, going for nukes (sometimes with only a knife), and sniping (maybe I go for some killfeeds every now and then, but hey, sue me).

Dec 01, · lol, sorry mate but skill based matchmaking is the best thing to ever happen to this game. No more top rank clan of 6 guys joining a game and spending 2 hours raping a team of 5 newbies.
A Facebook group needs strong leadership and clear direction if you want it to succeed. Launching a successful Facebook group is a definite art. It has to be compelling and dynamic and press peoples emotional hot buttons. Get a striking image and then use photo shop to add some text on top of the picture. Make sure it can still be read when it is reduced in size. Groups go viral because people invite their friends to join.
In that case find another friend and launch together. Make them a group admin too. Its much more fun launching a group with several people than having to do all the work on your own. Hand select the people who you want to be there and send them personal invitations. Make them feel special. Having these people as initial members instantly gives your group credibility.

It actually made you proud of your rank since only good players could achieve high ranks, and to do so you had to play other good players consistently unlike COD where any noob with enough time can reach top prestige. This link explains it well: Google “Halo true skill” since I can’t post a link To me it sounds like a lot of people are whining when they find out they are not that good when paired up against other people who are more on an equal level. Just as it may not be fun to have to play against people with similar skill levels, think of the noobs who just get owned every game I was a noob once, I got owned every game.

Season 1 Complete placement matches in a series to be placed in a division of players that are in your skill range. Once placed you will compete against players of similar skill in ranked league play ladders. Thanks for your feedback on the League Play feature. We are excited about and what it means for competitive Call of Duty. This does not necessarily mean that you are not playing against similarly ranked players, it may mean that players from your division are not available for this match, so the matchmaking system chose the next best matches outside of your division.
I say this because I have played several matches in a row maybe about 5 and seen several gamers from previous matches. From reading I have learned, for example, that some game types have been removed from certain series in League Play. You can set up your 5 Custom Classes, which seem to apply to all League types in which you participate. Advancing through the ranks in your ladder through gaining Ladder Points is driven by winning matches, personal performance, awarding of Bonus Weekly points and possibly win streaks.
Although most lost matches mean you lose ladder points, I have played some matches where I lose 0 Ladder Points. For those matches where my team won if I had any Weekly Bonus Points left over, they are always awarded per match. For lost matches which I have recorded I have been assessed Ladder Point losses of 0, , , , , and points. Scoring is hard for me to pinpoint but is a mixture of Ladder Points awarded or penalized based on win or loss.
